With a passion for natural health, Fatima attended Florida College of Natural Health and received her diploma in Massage Therapy specializing in deep tissue, neuromuscular, and Swedish massage. Fatima especially likes when people come in to the spa with “issues” so she can assess them, and help them heal themselves through her sense of knowledge, touch, and compassion.
Continuing with her educational goals, Fatima became an RN in 2009 and fell in love with hospice nursing; she utilizes her compassion and gentle touch for her hospice clients and feels honored and privileged to be able to do so.
Fatima has just finished her studies in colon hydrotherapy and is excited about adding this new skill to her massage career offerings. Colon hydrotherapy caters to the digestive system, which in turn assists the other organs of the body to help heal.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Fatima comes from a family of eight children and is one of triplets. Fatima moved to Sarasota in December 2004 with her husband Russ of 21 years where they continue to perform together in community theatre and dinner “murder mysteries.” Fatima started her educational career receiving a BA in theatre from the University of Mass/Boston.
In his childhood days in Japan, where a 3-generational family was very common, he practiced massaging his parents and grand parents. Massage was incorporated in his everyday life and he knew one day he would make massage his career.
